Naunton Beauchamp Worcestershi...
This triggered the memory of a farm next to the Scout Hut when I was a cub in the late 1950s. We used to go and look at the Spitfire wing that was used to block holes in an old barn, still sporting camo & rondels. Probably 'scrap' from nearby North Weald airfield, a fighter station that featured prominently in the Battle of Britain.

Not airplanes, but there were two old, rusted out DUK-W's sitting on the municipal airport in my hometown. A few friends and I used to go down there and play 'pirates' and 'navy' on them a lot. Of course, that was in the 60's when, if you got hurt doing things like that your parents were more likely to give you a whipping than hire a lawyer.

SALUTE TO ALL!

I saw this the other day and thought it was pretty interesting. It made me wish Peter Jackson would get them and restore them.
