Ice Cold in Alex or Eating in ...
Confession time, it has been at least 3 weeks since my last watching of a TV or movie, since my youngest son moved back home the last thing I seen on TV was the last episode of Game of Thrones.

Roger that wink

I once saw a version of Logan's Run that was uncensored. I never even knew the normal broadcast version was censored. Anyway, it made me very "happy" biggrin

As did Walkabout.

Many years later I got to meet her and have a drink with her, what a lovely lady and such a superb voice she still has.

Cold Pursuit https://www.imdb.com/title/tt5719748/

A little like John Wick,a revenge movie but the guy seeking revenge is purely amateur (Liam Neeson).

A fairly average film but entertaining enough.

North Dallas Forty was finally on Amazon for free.
North Dallas Forty: https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0079640/

Didn’t hold the same appeal for me that it did forty years ago. Even though it is a football movie it is mainly about the behind the scenes back stabbing and dirty shenanigans that take place on a daily basis. Being much older since I first saw the movie it definitely covers that aspect of life, not just in football, pretty darn well. It seems that someone is always trying to take a royal dump on you and then somehow make you think they are doing you a favor.

I'm really enjoying The Handmaid's Tale. Just the last episode of season 1 to finish then I'm off for season 2.

Every episode has been great so far.

Naunton Beauchamp Worcestershi...
Season 2 for me seemed to lack something, perhaps as it strays from the original novel. I've nodded off a couple of times in Season 3.....but that is probably down to age!

Enjoying 'Catch 22' at the moment. Seems to be following the quirky nuances of the book and has REAL PLANES IN IT, not CGI ones pulling impossible stunts. Also for once in a war film the actors seem young enough to represent those brave youths who flew, fought and fell.

Bad Grandpa, just yesterday evening on TV. Never did see it before.

Really something to laugh hahaha thumbsup

And I like Robert De Niro, he's such a good actor and it seems that he has also a good portion of humor acting in such a movie smile

"I Am Mother" - New sci-fi movie from Netflix.

The story started off quite intriguing and the performances by the two leads were good but the resolution to the story wasn't as satisfying as the build up. This seems to be a common trait with most of these Netflix movies.

My wife and I just finished watching all 5 seasons of "Chuck". It's a fun, silly, funny show. I really liked it.

Just watched “The Shootist”. John Wayne’s last movie. If you haven’t seen it you are missing a good one.

Yes, but it's funny.... I always thought the other love interests Chuck becomes involved with early in the show were hotter than Sarah.

Watching the series "Person of Interest".

Plenty of plot holes to nitpick if you want to but an interesting, entertaining and thought provoking show nonetheless.

Watched "Savage Builds" I had recorded Friday night. Was at Peter Jackson's place in New Zealand. Adam took the observer's gun in a R.E. 8 (I think it was a 3/4 size) against a Fokker DR1 in a laser tag dogfight. Very cool.

SALUTE TO ALL!

i bought it on bluray so needless to say I really liked it as well. It was a very worthy sequel to a sci-fi classic.

The only aspect that wasn't up to par with the original film is the music. I don't know why Vangelis didn't return to score 2049 but it's too bad he wasn't there.
