Two pictures taken from a friends 172. We were coming back from Sebring at low level checking out a new fly-in community that just opened. Taken with passengers iPhone.

I like how the tips look. Better than just a solid color tip. Shame about blacking out the N-number. It is so nicely done.

I am very pleased with the paint job. I am always getting compliments on it. At FBOs I often hear someone say that you have to go out and see that Cardinal that just came in.

And here are my two electric bikes. They load right in without having to remove the rear seat. Well within the weight and balance limits. Only 60 pounds total. Easy to get in and out. Wife and I rode them from an airport to the nearby lake and back (total 11 miles) and still had a half charge on them. But toward they end you could feel them losing some of the power.
Makes it nice to just land and then be off without having to arrange and pay for transportation.

There was only 16 squadrons of RAF fighters that used 100 octane during the BoB.
The Fw190A could not fly with the outer cannon removed.
There was no Fw190A-8s flying with the JGs in 1945.

Love the new paint job! Looks good in the air smile

In all my years I've never seen the like. It has to be more than a hundred sea miles and he brings us up on his tail. That's seamanship, Mr. Pullings. My God, that's seamanship!

Speaking of hangars and keeping aircraft clean, I'm about to come to blows with the airport guys that like to drive their lawn mowers next to my hangar door (they've gotten better at not doing it) and the two guys on the other side of the T hangar that occasionally think that using a leaf blower or air compressor to "sweep out" their hangar is a grand idea.

Nothing like wiping the aircraft down and coming back the next day to find an eighth of an inch of dirt all over it.

They deny doing it, but others say otherwise.
