Are the textures now capable of doing stereo 3D or are they still with no depth value?

That would be a function of Direct 3D and your nvidia drivers. D3D 9.0 did support 3D glasses, but if your program isn't running at 80 fps it won't be smooth. EECH is running under DSD 9.0, so theoretically it should work. Is that your question? I have some 3D glasses in a drawer, but back when I bought them most software didn't run fast enough to make it work without giving me a headache.

Enemy Engaged 1 had no depth value to its terrain, so I'm wondering if this has finally been fixed or not with 1.16. Cockpit and objects were 3d but not the ground.

Hi Reticuli,

didn't know if the terrain thing is fixed with the change from DX7 to DX9, but I think making EECH compatible if it isn't supporting 3D at the moment would be a lot of work.

There are much other things to do before.

The last time I used 3D was somewhere during the late 90's with the old NVidia cards and the Elsa Revelator shutter glasses biggrin
It was a cool feature, cause it was simply integrated in the drivers, but then NVidia changed to their own extremly expensive 3D Vision, which at the end was nothing other as the shutterglasses and I lost the interest on it. The only possible solution after this was to use anaglyph glasses which wasn't a real good deal, cause of the adulterated colors.

I also own a Pimax VR, but the use of it is very limited. Even Falcon BMS doesn't support VR at the moment, so I think in EECH it's also useless (even with some workarounds to get VR running in unsupported games). Only simulators I know of supporting 3D or VR are DCS, Aerofly FS2, X-Plane and FSX/P3D with the use of Flyinside.

You don't need any work arounds to get 3D to turn on with EE, just that the terrain on it does not render in stereo because there are no z values or some nonsense like that.

Not sure what you're talking about that Falcon doesn't work. I use it all the time in stereo.

I have only heard of attempts not working after trying and failing myself. Would love to know your method for getting it into stereo.
