I'll hit a double cheeseburger and Coke for 3 bucks a couple times a month...

The burger is obviously not great, but the Coke is good...

Sometimes the burger isn't bad (at this price point)...

On the rare occasions I'd eat out for breakfast - they're not bad...

What say you all?

When I'm in Orlando, my impression was that from all the prepared breakfasts that can be had up and down International Drive, the McD breakfast was the least detestable (I'm more of a yoghurt and fruits breakfast person, and shudder at the thought of bacon and sausages in the morning). The sole exception was the super-posh hotel's super-expensive breakfast buffet at $28.- per day, per person - Thanks, but No thanks. Of course, still too much sugar in everything at Mickey Dee's. So I've been making my own breakfast over the past few years.
Burger wise, a big mac is still OK once in a while. There's a marked contrast however how McD's in the US often are the bottom as far as the general location impression is concerned, but fairly decent in most European countries. I haven't done an extensive survey, only sampled maybe a dozen places in as many years - it's just my impression, but I know of others (including Americans) who share that sentiment.

I go to Rotten Ronnies when I am constipated. Gives a good flush.

There was only 16 squadrons of RAF fighters that used 100 octane during the BoB.

There was no Fw190A-8s flying with the JGs in 1945.

I never willingly eat at McDonalds, it's not "nasty" or anything like that I just prefer others. For breakfast Hardees or Bojangles is much better. For a burger I much prefer Burger King or Hardees.

For a burger I go to Five Guys or Steak & Shake. I do like McDonalds Sausage McMuffin for a breakfast sandwich.

If I hit McDonald’s or any fast food burger joint it’s generally for a couple items off the dollar menu. Of course, where I live now the closest fast food is about 70 miles away, so I haven’t had any since last October when I moved here. It’s not a priority the next time I’m out that way (but a Chinese buffet is!)

At least 15 years free of Mc D. Not that I don't fancy one once in a while but I'd much prefer to make my own.

I'll grab a BBQ Bacon Angus or a chicken clubhouse when we go to the movies. No meal deal, just the burger, i can't stand those skinny cold fries. Like Chuck, i love me home made burgers, can't beat 'em!

Probably once a year because it’s close and I’m in a hurry, but I’m not ashamed to admit I enjoy that Big Mac when I have it. And Of course the fries!

Hit McD’s when on the road traveling. Egg McMuffins at breakfast and Mc nuggets for lunch. But only when on a long drive because of convenience. Burger King for burgers. Popeyes for chicken.

Not had good experience with 5 Guys.

I noticed no one mentioned Wendy's. They used to be really good for fast food, but their quality just nose dived.

Yep. once in awhile. I like their Angus burgers.

Egg White Delight isn't bad, and I sometimes go for a cone, but otherwise the only time I go to McD's is if someone else wants to go and I'm accommodating them, which is about 2-3 times a year.

Occasionally when I'm in a rush at lunch I'll get the Artisan chicken sandwich- it's not fried and there's no mayo.
For the same price you can also substitute a side salad with Newman's Own Light Italian dressing in place of the fries and a get diet coke. Not bad on the calories and cholesterol, but they're all fairly high in sodium content.

I read somewhere that Australia categorised McD's as confectionery by their food laws until they changed something, I suspect the bread.

I will admit to eating McD's on occasion smile it's a consistent standard you can rely on, even if it's not the healthiest. My stance is that it's not unhealthy as long as you treat it as an occasional, not a staple. Saying that, I feel that the bread is different somehow in the Czech Republic compared to the UK, better, not as artificially sweet. I prefer it. I try not to touch the fries though, those things are an abomination in any country biggrin I go for the salad + blue cheese sauce.

Ice Cold in Alex or Eating in ...
Only when I'm back in Scotland and having to do some manual work and don't have time to cook, there is a McDs at the building supplies shop where we go to get timber/tiles etc. and will grab a McWhat-ever to eat on the way back to the job. happens maybe as often as once a year.
In Belgium I wouldn't touch a McD with yours never mind eating it myself, neither would my wife eat a McD here, the ones in Scotland are a lot better than the ones in Belgium, In Belgium they eat Quicks but more likely to go to the chip shop and get a salad baguette with French fries
