There is a new documentary coming out, assembled from newfound footage from William Wyler, left over from when he shot Memphis Belle. Nine veterans are also interviewed. This looks like a must-see for me!
In all my years I've never seen the like. It has to be more than a hundred sea miles and he brings us up on his tail. That's seamanship, Mr. Pullings. My God, that's seamanship!

Watched it the other day. Wouldn't say it is a must see. Some of the footage I have seen before.
There was only 16 squadrons of RAF fighters that used 100 octane during the BoB. The Fw190A could not fly with the outer cannon removed. There was no Fw190A-8s flying with the JGs in 1945.

Just come across this documentary, can recommend it just on the footage alone, which seems to have been restored, giving it an immediacy usual docos may not have.
