seems my fav mod wont work anymore. Tried a few things but no joy. Any ideas??
looks like the new D3D8 files maybe

looks like the new D3D8 files maybe lederhosen, open d3d8.ini file in folder xx:\OBDSoftware\WOFF\WOFFScenery\Shaders with any text editor and locate following sentence: ; Change to NoMultisampling=1 for SweetFX compatibility, but it will disable ingame antialiasing. NoMultisampling=0 then change 0 to 1 as follows: Save file and enjoy Sweet FX again.

Any chance you can post it for all? I am interested too. Once upon a time I had sweetfx working fine, then never again - and the attempts afterward seem to ruin my game requiring reinstall : ( (even with new video card) - actually think it is perhaps tied to my anti-virus, idk...). ...but nevertheless, interested in the reshade. Though the in-game shaders look pretty decent, that "warmth" from the reshade in your pic makes things look more realistic and more vibrant color palette.

Right guys il try my best..1st of all download Reshade latest version is 4.3.0 i believe. Click on the exe and point it to WOFF.exe ....NOT CFS3.exe..it,ll say "Select the rendering api" then click on Direct3d 9 keep everything checked..and it,ll put some files folders and files into your WOFF directory. Then click the x to close.. Then CREATE a notepad file and save as WOFF.ini. Copy and Paste the settings into your WOFF.ini file and save,and put it in the WOFF main directory. Load up WOFF and choose a qc best using a summers day..just before you get to the field you should see a reshade confirmation top left of screen let it go to field and press "HOME" for tutorial you will get a welcome screen. Itll show default preset click on the + button to the right and type woff and enter (MAKE SURE 1st that you,ve got the WOFF.INI file in your MAIN folder.) Click on settings to change overlay key and add a toggle effects key if you like i use Shift+F1 for Overlay and Scroll lock for effects on/off lower down you can click to show fps a clock and even frame time if you like. click back on home and continue you should see the effects page with 4 effects ticked (Clarity..Technicolor..Curves and Liftgammagain) There the only ones i use Liftgammagain is the one i use to increase decrease color but by all means play around with any you like. Click on finish the SHIFT+F1 (if you,ve changed your overlay key) and check your results by using the EFFECTS on/off key (if you,ve set it up to Scroll lock or another key of your choosing) and thats it.. I know it may seem a little daunting but it is incredibly easy..I want to make this declaration though.. You ALL do this Entirely at your OWN risk. OBD im pretty sure will offer NO support with mods or reshade/Sweetfx installed I dont know if Reshade effects WOFFS (new) SHADERS in any way. Ive personnally had ZERO issues using reshade but you have been warned guys i hope my advice above helps anyone whos interested in using Reshade.

Thank you Going to have to sort out what is wrong for me - followed instructions and reshade works (loads up with message, etc.) Made the WOFF.ini as instructed, type it in. Set my effects on/off key. Not seeing ANY difference toggling it - though i see in the reshade info box in the menu screen the effects on/off as I toggle this key...so something isn't right... will try to sort it out. I did not have: "click back on home and continue you should see the effects page with 4 effects ticked (Clarity..Technicolor..Curves and Liftgammagain)" - I saw none of these anywhere.

Does your Woff.ini look like this in the main woff folder Redwolf? If so you,ve copied and pasted ALL the files into the .ini file thats shown in the spoiler tag in my post above mate Yes it does, except I used all capitals for the ini title (WOFF.ini), and typed it in as such in the reshade tutorial/menu...and yes, I copied the whole load of lines you had in your sample - they are there.

ok Redwolf try it in small letters ie woff.ini..it should be 14kb as shown above ..try reloading the preset again by typing woff and enter. Its got to be something simple thats not quite working for you pal
EDIT: there should also be a folder called reshade-shaders size 11.8mb in your Main WOFF folder if you double click on this you should get 2 more folders called shaders and textures..77kb and 11mb repectively pal are they there?

Yes, I changed the name to lower case and yes there are all the folders at those sizes. Still no joy. Oh well...at least it still looks pretty good with the stock/default shaders (indeed the upgraded shaders from last patch are better than the old). Would have liked to have been able to at least try the reshade, but I guess it isn't to be for me...will still try to sort it out, but I am okay if it doesnt work. Edit - Say, I don't have to change the NoMultisampling=0 to 1 on the dx8 ini for reshade to work do I?
