If you haven't flown since the update, be aware of the module priorities bug which I mentioned in response to your question in the Courier thread. Check them routinely or you will deploy hardpoints to a dead ship perhaps. I imagine your shields have a long recharge? And I am not carrying healer beams.
Where are we meeting? I am up for CNB, RES or CZ.

Of course, the easier the better!
Yes, that bug would only affect it if you have engineered your ship within an inch of the max like me!
If you're not over 100% I reckon it won't mean a thing.
Exioce has normal, High and Haz RES plus CZs. But since you'll be on hours before me feel free to find another and let me know.

Yeah, I hope he can make it. He was out in the black for the last one.
This brings up something I wanted to talk about.
I no longer care about money. I have way more than I need, as does everyone. But I do care about combat rank, which is the driving force here.
What are the advantages to winging up? You can see each other more easily, and targets are shown?
I was wondering if it might be better to do it all the same way we did before, that is calling out targets, waiting until everyone is ready and calling 'hits!', but doing so without winging up. What is the drawback I might be missing? I'm thinking about this as a way to gain max rank. We would still get the bounty as long as we each get our hits in correct?
I'm OK either way honestly, but if I can max out the rank gain I'd be all for it.

That would be problematic yes. If that's the way it works then problem solved.

We ran in to technical difficulties and didn't get to offer battle. Did you get it squared away Bo? I was looking forward to exiting the station alongside another human. Would have been a first for me We'll get 'em next time. I still have to show off my super Courier ya know.

I'm OK either way honestly, but if I can max out the rank gain I'd be all for it. As mentioned later in the thread, if you are not in a WING you don't share any bounties or XP and the only way to collect Bounties or XP is the one to get the FINAL killing shot in (I believe) otherwise you get nothing...I believe that once Wing Members get a shot in, they still collect no matter how the target dies (at least that has been my experience when the Cops finish off a target I hit). Rules may be different for HUMAN pilots.. Another benefit is the WING TARGETTING mechanism which we know about, and the biggest benefit is no FRIENDLY FIRE PENALTY.. If you are NOT in a WING, but accidentally hit another Human pilot (even if you are FRIENDED) I believe you will get an Assault Bounty and become WANTED.

Glad you're feeling better Rec. I'm convinced there is no better way to get combat XP when flying with friends. I wish it wasn't split. Or you could choose if you want to split XP OR credits. So Wingin' it is it. If Bo's good to go I can try again this evening. I want to take advantage while he is still in my home station. If you're up for some combat Recluse, shuffle over to Dvorsi (Fowler Orbital) Three players leaving my station would be too much

Glad you’re feeling better, Rec.
