I figure it is my mods but with them off I still can't die. Maybe I corrupted something? Could someone please confirm if they are seeing:

- the pilot being hit (blood damage or noises), eventual death even?
- if you dive straight into the ground at 800km, or flip upside down and fly into the ground after takeoff, do you actually die?

I keep getting the ability to fly the next mission in a campaign.

(I've checked invulnerability in the options and it is off; I do turn that on when I do my mapping work.)

Looks like one of your mods Chief (Not the map mod)

With your collective mod and i also use your BF109 and Hurricane FM ones i get the same outcome has you..I uninstalled your mods then i reran the 1.14 Patch..Enabled the map mod then created a test pilot,flew a campaign mission and crashed i was killed and i had to create another pilot.
I hope you can track down the culprit has i really enjoy your mods pal

Nothing to do with us. Must be to do with a file in the mod.

Adger, many thanks for the point about running the patch working to reset it, that has helped save me a lot of time as I would have been having to reinstall the whole game.

I've confirmed the bug is where I suspected it was and will strip out that feature of the collective mod (the damage box values). I'll put a version 1.5 up in the collective mod post in a minute which will have all the other mods in it except that one, and then look to fix it and bring it back in.
