I recall hearing that the difference in set "atmosphere" had to do with Avery Brooks. I watched a show on Netflix called "The Captains" or something to that effect, and watching Brooks made me believe it. He was very intense, almost incoherent at times. He's either brilliant or insane. Probably a little of each!
Throughout history, poverty is the normal condition of man. Advances which permit this norm to be exceeded — here and there, now and then — are the work of an extremely small minority, frequently despised, often condemned, and almost always opposed by all right-thinking people.
