Hi everyone!

I recently found SAS Ultra Mod pack and saw that this pack includes Planes and maps suitable for the Spanish Civil War and the Battle of Britain - but it doesn't include campaugns for these scenarios...

Has anyone played good Il2 46 campaign set in this era? Preferable from a German POV...

If you can find any for it, they'll be on Mission 4 Tonight in the Mods Campaigns section most likely.

I'm not sure were people find the time to play unofficial mods. There's so much content with the original IL-2 Sturmovik 1946 alone, have you played through each campaign already?

Edit: On top of that, you never know which version a mod uses, it's almost always an earlier version that doesn't work correctly with the latest patch.

I think it's relevant to allow players the opportunity to play what they want to, and skip the aspects they don't like. There's no rule that says you're not allowed to progress to mods until you have exhausted every facet of the official releases.

In regards to "it's almost always an earlier version that doesn't work correctly with the latest patch", on the one hand that depends entirely on the mod and what it does. On the other, this is why people have multiple installs.

Quite frankly, some aspects of the official releases are lacking and in a few cases, simply wrong. Waiting for all of them to be fixed or added by TD is...well, optimistic.

Here's a fair collection of campaigns to look over in one post

IL-2:1946 is out since 2006, and I'm just talking about 1946. There is two campaigns from the first Il-2 Sturmovik (2001), a lot of campaigns from Il-2 Forgotten Battles (2003) some from Ace Expension Pack (2004) and all the pacific campaigns from Pacific Fighters (2004). So yeah, in 17 years, I've played all the official campaigns of Il-2 1946, and I don't think I'm the only one.

Il-2 has a great community that allows me to still play this game on campaigns I still not know. Thanks to all the modders.
