This popped up on my Youtube. I love seeing it from a first person perspective from the camera worn by this paratrooper. Seeing that C-47 from the inside with all the paratroopers is an neat sight. It must be a privileged to make a jump from a C-47 into Normandy in memory and honor of all WW2 vets and in particular those who participated in the D-Day invasion. I loved the end when the little kids came up to him all wide-eyed and excited. I feel that way as a young man watching this but imagine what it must be like to a child's eye to see these allied men from the sky landing in their backyard. I don't speak French but someone in the comments section stated this about what the kids were saying and it gave me a good chuckle:
