Has anyone figure out how to use this as a POV ? Mine by default wants to fly the plane.

I don't own this game, but the pre-condition for use an mini-stick for control POV/Camera is the game allow:

- Set axes for control POV or Camera. *

- Allow use mouse for control POV. Generally came pre-assigned, e.;g. IL-2:CloD, IL-2:Bo'X (GB series), DCS World...

For the first case is just matter of assign the X, Y axes of mini stick for move POV/Camera up/down, left/right.

For the second will be need a program for translate joy POV HAT (DX buttons) movements in mouse movements. I use JoytoKey for this (for Il-2:CloD).

* IL-2: Bo'x (GB series) allow se an axis for control POV/Camera, but i don't find this much practical, when you need hold POV/Camera in a give position need "fight" with mini-stick springs what may result in trembling vision.
