33lima, could you please advise which mods/patches to install and in what order? Last time I tried re-installing SF I couldn't even change the screen resolution for some reason...

This is what I've got, Dornil, for my STA 2.0 install (I thought it was 1.2, but 2.0 is what it says):



Some of the mods listed on the left are likely redundant now - eg the widescreen mod, which IIRC was incorporated in 1.2 onwards. So I'd suggest changing the resolution after installing and enabling the sound mod (SSM) and STA. I seem to recall there is also settings in the game options which may limit choice of resolution, a box you need to tick or untick - I run at 1600 xx900 native and under the cog wheel icon have 'Use desktop resolution' ticked and 'No video mode restrictions' UNticked. The stuff listed after STA is the 'game mission packs' and other optional stuff. The order in which you enable mods is significant - I'd suggest following what's seen here.
