Hi,
Bought this game a couple months ago. I have upgraded my PC. A gaming laptop, my specs are in my signature.

When I originally bought the digital version of the game, I backed it up to a external hard drive. Yesterday I tried in vain to install and run the game, 3 or 4 times. I followed the instructions in the FAQs to the letter. I turned of my anti virus during install, and when trying to run it. Gave WOTR a firewall exception. No joy

When I try to start the game, I get a black screen, with the cursor a stop sign. It runs for maybe 2 seconds, and crashes.

Is my laptop not able to run this sim ? Is it because I switched computers ?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Upgraded to the most recent Nvidia driver as well.

Although we do not support laptops directly usually WOTR and WOFF will run.

Most common issue in a dual GPU laptop is the Intel GPU runs rather than the Nvidia.

Contact support email please with your order number, and send the logs please and details as per the last 2 pages of the FAQ and I'll help.

Occasionally WOTR can stop right at the beginning on laptops and Windows 10 if they have a problem
playing the basic opening splash movie (OBDSplash.wmv which is a simple windows media movie file). If
you launch and the WOTR menu seems to hang, try renaming OBDSplash.wmv found in
C:\OBDSoftware\WOTR\OBDWW2 Wings Over The Reich\campaigns\CampaignData\ShellMusic

Now I have a new problem. I can't find the email with the activation code. I can't remember if I payed by Visa or PayPal. Can't find it in my history.
I think I'll just buy it again to save the hassle.

Running on my laptop, medium settings 80 to 120 fps. Happy camper.
