When I was driving around the other night, I was petrified that t would destroy my SRV and have to make 16 jumps back for another one.. I was attacked by 2 Sentinels and managed to kill them while taking minimal damage. The ship point defense did a good job from where it was parked AT THE TIME. I did almost kill myself by tumbling down a mountainside while trying to get a firing position on a sentinel behind a structure..

Not sure what time Recluse will be on, and Wingy too. But if you guys want to get started before I arrive that's cool. Maybe can get Recluse done before I get there. I am in Dvorsi. I will set sail by 6:30 if all goes according to plan. It's 17 jumps, so about a half hour to get there for me.

Plus a 10 minute low wake to the site. Plus 45 minutes looking for a landing spot. So, make it an hour and a half biggrin

Cool Bohemond, glad you'll be part of this. I imagine if a ship is destroying the sentinels it becomes a bit easier, no? Not that that's what you need to be doing of course. I defer to sensei Wingnuts.

Quit the worrying gentlemen. All will be fine. I checked last night myself and seemed to be in about the same location. Not taking a chance I deployed to the SRV though. Remember we can repair reload and refuel the SRV. If you have the mats I'd recommend Amo reloads using the "standard" gaining 15% damage increase. Your choices though. I'll be on early around 3ish my time.

Mission Successful!

Thanks to everyone for helping with this. As I said over the R/T I would never have done this on my own. But with your help it wasn't hard at all. At least once I figured out how to play Elite biggrin

That was fun, and I appreciate the invite in to the group.

Now to get me some jump.

Sometime later.....

I saw it through to the end. I bought the shock mounts and turned out I only had 21 focus crystals, so needed to go get them too. Unlocked the Guardian FSD booster. And a fine piece of kit it is. I put the class 3 in the DBX and she now jumps 66 LY! I remember when I was so happy to crack the 20 LY mark. The booster has a cost, it draws some power, a little more than a A class shield booster at 1.27. I tend to build my ships with undersized powerplants so on some ships installing the FSD booster might require a rework, but module priority should cover it. That's a serious boost to jump range and well worth it, and this one is only the class 3. It'll be fun spreading these around the fleet.
