Facebook asks me:
What are you thinking of?

Thinks about?
Hmm.
Today it's been Mother's Day here in Norway..

I have always congratulated my wife on her mother's day. With flowers and perhaps a small gift in the middle.
Today I went to the nursing home with tulips and some gifts.
I asked, "Do you know what day it is today?"
She said, "Are we in October"?
I told her, "It's Mother's Day, and I really appreciate you."
Then her face lit up and she smiled.
She said, "Can I smell the flowers?"
-"Yes of course".
"Oh, they smell so delicious," she said. "What kind of flowers is it?"
- "Tulips".
- "Tulips are my favorite flowers"?
-"Yes I know".

☺️

I really don't think it's so important that someone is not aware of time and place.
Better it is to create some bright moments, which gives a little joy.
Sometimes a little moment is enough.

There was once a young man who wrote a book about being sad.

What the hell did he know .................?

I had to read this post a couple of times to get what you were saying but the last two sentences still have me baffled.

Wigean, little moments are indeed sometimes enough.

I hope your Wife has many more.

I'm not sure from the wording of the post whether it is Wigean's wife or mother in the Nursing Home?

Sorry for the confusion.
It`s my wife.
She has MS, and she has been in a nursery home for 2 years now.

I'm so sorry to hear that Wigean. I know MS has no cure but I will keep her in my thoughts and hope that somehow her condition can be improved.
