Too bad Amazon couldn’t have saved Dark Matter, too.

I'm happy with the Blurays of Season 3, not much by the way of extras on them but they did show some behind the scenes and time-lapse videos of them building the sets also that the Rocinante set was 4 stories high.

Series was quite good but quite a few departures from the books, though we did end up at the same place at the end smile

I finally finished Season 3 of The Expanse.

According to the expanse wiki we will see Season 4 arrive on Amazon in 2019. Has anyone heard of a more specific date of when to expect S4?

Watching Episode 10 of season three tonight.

I really like Season 3 so far.

Bah. This thread shows back up only to be saddened.

Moar Expanse asap, please. smile I just finished BSG and I'm in need to good sci-fi. Tried watching Deep Space 9, and while well done, I always know every episode that the good guys will win and the bad guys will lose and nothing lasting and terrible will happen to anyone. With the Expanse... anyone can die. Guess that's why Vikings still has my attention. Not nearly as refined or intricate as Game of Thrones, but does the job.

In the 1990's it was extremely rare for any network or syndicated show to be really "dark" and where characters would be killed off permanently or in really violent ways.

Yep. Plot armor sucks.

In my most recent novel(that I need to get off my lazy ass and edit), lots of people die, but in meaningful ways. What's the fun in a story if you know everyone is safe?
