Maybe it's triggering your memory? When did you first hear it and what were you doing? I have a few songs like this, no other explanation except pure nostalgia (although most of my nostalgic tunes would be enjoyable to me anyway).

Totally OT...

Not long ago I walked into a business and swore I smelled papier-mâché.

["Papier-mâché, French for "chewed paper", is a composite material consisting of paper pieces or pulp, sometimes reinforced with textiles, bound with an adhesive, such as glue, starch, or wallpaper paste."]

I immediately thought of the evil-looking Satan clown hand puppet I made in 4th grade(?) art class. I'm surprised I haven't had nightmares about it. biggrin

I thought it was a recent song just to realize it was out in 2002 bananadance How did I missed it, could have been a recent song easy
