I wish them all the best in retirement. It’s definitely the end of an amazing career.

Glad I saw them on their last tour. Kicking myself for not trying to get tickets to the final shows in Toron....YYZ.

Same here regarding the last (R40) tour. They came to New Orleans so it was a definite that we were going to go.

But had I known that it really was going to be the last tour, we would have made a road trip to at least see one more show.

After reading the article I clicked on this: 25 Best Rock Drummers of all Time If you have the patience to click through it, work your way to Bill Bruford and tell me what's wrong.
Or better yet, I'll save you the trouble and post the picture of "Bill Bruford."

Didnt get to see them when I lived in Miami/FL when I was younger (80´s) and they didnt tour to much to Europe were I live now. Although a friend did get me a t-shirt of the "Roll the Bones" tour from the Paris/France show. Sad I never got to see my fav band frown

Wish them all the best, they sure deserve it!

Thinking of Neil permanently retiring makes me think of the retirement stage of life in the "Fountain of Lamneth"...

==========

Suite V: Bacchus Plateau (12:52)

Another endless day
Silhouettes of grey
Another glass of wine
Drink with eyes that shine
To days without that chill at morning
Nights time out of mind

Chorus:
Draw another goblet
From the cask of '43
Crimson misty memory
Hazy glimpse of me
Give me back my wonder
I've something more to give
I guess it doesn't matter
There's not much more to live

Another foggy dawn
The mountain almost gone
Another doubtful fear
The road is not so clear
My soul grows ever weary
And the end is ever near

Chorus
==========

Also, Losing It...
