Hi Guys,

If you are on full screen view in EECH and your graphics card resolution is at 1280 wide you will see a picture. If you changed the graphics card and increased the resolution to 4096 wide would you start to see some of the side views, or is it just the same view in more detail ?

I suspect it's the latter, but am not 100% sure.

Depends on the resolution. If for example the aspect ratio is kept at 4:3 then even the higher resolution (providing it's still using 4:3 ratio) will just give you better picture but not a wider field of view...however once you get into ultra wide resolutions/aspect ratios I would imagine that the field of view will be increased. I tried to run EECH on 3 monitors (something like 3860x1024 or some crap like that) and the field of view was suuuper wide (reallly liked it and might be tempted to get an ultra wide screen at some point). Hope that answers your question.

Thanks for the response to my question.

I was asking because I have a simpit and was going to back project on to the windscreen, but am thinking that a curved screen with a couple of projectors would be better.

No worries. I have seen a few people with the curved monitors/projectors and the setup looked amazing. Obviously I've checked your simpit website and have to say that I'm well impressed with your cockpit. Good luck with it mate.
