Just in case someone missed it, Starsector, formerly Starfarer had a massive update last November (v0.9a).

This game has been in development for quite some years and still in EA but very playable. Great game to be honest, only SP though. You can pre-order from there home site (only available on there site) for $15. If you already have the game, re-download it (from there blog) in order to have the latest version.
