Got this on a Preorder, and received it 3 days after Launch.

Day 1: Installed game, and then it downloaded a Day 1 Patch (56Gb)
Day 2: Oh Crap, they sent another patch (48Gb)

Look, if when they launch, they have to redownload the entire game over several days, this is a serious issue. This is not a "fix" this is a Rewrite.
Anyway back to the game.

Gameplay looks like Fallout4. Graphics are really dated.
Crashes
Boring, because other than a few robots there are no NPC characters to interact with.
Online Fulltime Connection required.

Costco has the most liberal return policy that I am aware of.
INCLUDING GAME SOFTWARE.
I took this steaming turd back to Costco, and they gave me a full refund, including the shipping charge.

Besthesda should be scorned for putting out this weaksauce. Online reviews will tell you that all the things you enjoyed about FO4 have been removed to make it more "Online Inclusive"

Just about every review out there reflects exactly what you are saying. They all say it's a huge disappointment and to avoid it like the plague. They basically removed all the features that make the later Fallout games fun.

I loved the Fallout series but I am not buying this , mainly because they removed the NPCs and made it an MMO. I played WoW for years and am done with mmos

Chucky, that game brought me the most joy when Costco said they would refund the money!

Such a shame too. I was really looking forward to it when I first heard about it.

This has to be the derpiest AAA title in recent history.

I'd like to know what they spent on development?

Reason being that I suspect most of that amount was actually spent on covering cost overruns for Starfield, or some other much more ambitious upcoming title.
