Someone on the ED forum claimed to got the mod working on 1.5.8 BadBud. Its free mod so what do you have to lose.

+1

Looks like you just need to create a folder so if it goes wrong just delete it. wink

I tried it in 1.5.8, it works but some of the switches are wonky and won't click properly. At least for me. Works fine in 2.X

I still haven't come completely to grips with it, but don't expect terrain mapping. More like a line on the radar screen that vaguely suggests the height of the terrain in front of you.

Anybody able to install, I'm confused by this download to google drive. I would like to simply download the file and unzip to the appropriate folder

Right click on the V1011 and select download.
My install path is C:Users/<your name here>/SavedGames/DCS.openbeta/ (in my case since i'm running the ob)
Just open the folder, inside there's a folder called mods. Just drag the mods folder to the above directory and drop it. Should work fine from that point. Icon will be on the main menu just like a purchased plane.

In the file you unzip, there's a mods folder, copy that and paste it in Dcs

I have the same problem as Specialksl.
I created mods folder , made sure I unzipped contents. I activated mods in JSGME and still cannot access A4 as in in game selection.
Thanks

JSGME installation
1.put the JSGME.exe in your Saved games folder. Then run JSGME and make the folder name MODS <---- upper case
2.Unzip the A4 into the MODS folder you just created which is now visible in your Saved Games folder.
3.Open the MODS folder and then open the A-4E-C V101 folder
4. create a new folder called DCS.openbeta
5. put the Mods(notice lower case for last 3 letters) folder that is in your present folder(A-4E-C V101) into the DCS.openbeta folder.
6. close folders.
7. run JSGME and enable the A-4E-C V101
8. close JSGME and start DCS opnebeta 2.5
9. in the row of bottom icons you will now see the A4 icon
10. When DCS is up dated simply uninstall from JSGME and update.
11. when update is finished reinstall and A4 is back.

In step 1 , did you put the JSGME.exe in the Saved Games folder and then click on it run JSGME for the first time. A window should open giving you a choice to change the name of the Mods folder. I changed it to MODS and clicked finish. This made the folder MODS in my Saved Games folder. Then I continued with the rest of the steps. Good luck, it works for me.
