I only watched his cameo a couple of days ago in The Big Bang Theory, 'The Excelsior Acquisition'. I'm currently working through all the seasons again.

I know he was editor in chief, and also CEO/big boss man etc., but where's he fit in with the characters and stories that were created?. Stan created or co-created most of the famous Marvel superheroes like Spider Man, X-Men, Thor, Iron Man, etc.
