I always scored myself on flying time and sorties
. The game world seems to have a way of catching up with you, and usually it's waiting for your number to come up.
But to your point , I think the highest I had before falling victim to some un-natural calamity was 64. These of course were "confirmed" , my claim list was much higher haha.
I swear you drop a enemy machine right in front of the Adjutant, nearly hitting the Major's prize hound with the who squadron present and THINK they'd notice!!
Turns out they gave credit to one of the new chaps in the group. Charity work!
The career I'm working on now was started in October 1916 with an Albatros I so its been easy hunting from the start. He's made it to Bloody April of 1917, but i've had several
close calls (Near Collision, Forced Landing in NML after flak destroyed lower wing, and fleeing from 5 or 6 N17 & Spad7s running with some FEs) so i've been sailing the skies
with other pilots as I fear if i'm not vested with the time to sit down for a flight with him, his career might be over before he rolls off the field, haha. 55 Sorties, 33 claims with 19 confirmed, and just under 50 hours flying!
Another fun one i'm having was Pfalz Career starting in Verdun Jan 1, 1915. It's now May 22, 1915 and he's racked up 70 sorties with 94.65 flying hours!. And managed 1 confirmed victory!!
Much fun. Wish i had more time for lying lately!
