And btw, did you know that during the Bosnian war not only an F-117 was shot down by an old missile from the eighties? I have a friend from Serbia and it is a well know fact in those places that a B-2 spirit was also shot down by same missiles. The people from the village near the crash site thought an alien spaceship had crashed there. The US covered the whole fact up and came and dug out the ground like 2 meters deep on the crash site and removed every single piece of debris. This is not some story made up, everyone there that lived there during the war knows it, but it was NEVER released to the outside world!

Did you type that wearing a tin hat?
Can I just ask you to justify why it is "expensive crap"? Proper facts not just hearsay like above?
Lots of programs overrun and cost more than expected. Take the F-16, it matured from a low weight/cost day fighter into one of the most numerous and capable fighters of its generation. It was dogged with problems and had its fair share of crashes. F-15, the same.
Sounds like you don't know what you are talking about to be fair.

There is a LOT more about this B-2 downing in Serbian and Croatian, but it is a pity you don't understand the language and the subtitles were not so good, but this fact of the B-2 is VERY well known in that region! My friend is from Serbia and he can send me a lot more, but you wouldn't understand it (the language , that is)

So the area was hostile enough to warrant using a $2 billion stealth bomber, but US ground forces were able to just roll in there immediately? The same day? Or overnight even?

Nope, croatian militia guarded that whole area as LONG as was needed before they came and cleared the whole crash site! You should do a bit more reseache about it, but it is all covered up on US side, pity you don't understand the local language, there are SO many programs and docus about this in Serbia! I know people there, I know a lot about it, but whatever I would say, you would not believe it or are just too short sighted. You americans are so simple minded. You have no idea how they think about the Us and NATO in Serbia. Americans have no knowledge about the world outside the US anyway, they only think about their own interests!

Perhaps you need to look up what fact means in English - nothing like you think it does.
So the guy in the video states in the first minute that there is no evidence of the event........well that is because it never happened.
There would have been wreckage exactly like the other jets shot down and it would have been all over the Media guaranteed...............no one could have stopped it...................basically Serbia and Croatia would have to be covering it up as well.

I am British.
Answer me why it wasn't covered up when the F-117 was shot down but a more difficult plane to cover up due to sheer size was? And yes the B-2 is more expensive but still stealth technology. Plus, if it had happened are you telling me the site wouldn't of been targeted by air attacks to destroy the site and expensive equipment? But no, the ground forces intimidated the USAF so much. The USAF being the most advanced air force in the world?
Please, send the info from your "Serbian friend", we could I am sure translate it.
If not, I call BS.

Lol I think you nailed it Ross! The USAF was so intimidated by the ground forces (after getting a B2 shot down) it was decided to send in GROUND forces to cover the incident up rather than bomb the wreckage into oblivion! So you've got GROUND forces so great you need to send IN massive ground forces - now how does THAT get covered up?

Yup. A downed B2 would have been a cruise missile target in a heartbeat.
Absolutely - you could be wrong about the exact method, but prevention of gathered intelligence would be an especially high priority if a "cover up" was the agenda.
And let's go to the root of this conspiracy theory - Why send in ground crew when we could just blow it to oblivion?
Even if we had to sacrifice a few planes - that's nothing compared to the monetary payoffs it'd take to do it in the way this conspiracy theorist suggests...
There'd be NO way to keep such a ground operation secret. Better to risk a few more airplanes and pilots if that was the real goal...
Simply not plausible. On purely logical grounds.
America doesn't deny it's losses in any War. America (rightfully or wrongfully) openly DECLARES it's losses in War.....

True. The method might differ but the end goal would be the same. Someone would make sure that there was nothing useful left behind. Covering up the mission would not matter nearly as much as destroying the technology.

Neither a cruise missile barrage nor an incursion by US ground troops could hope to remove ALL evidence of such a shoot down / crash, therefore I'm going to go out on a limb and say it never happened.

The F-117 shot down over Serbia is well known and debated to death. Short story version: That F-117 basically flew over the enemy radar/SAM battery (SA-3 site). Stealth doesn't mean completely undetectable, it means that for example a radar that can detect a non-stealth aircraft at lets say 150km that the same radar will detect a stealth aircraft at only 20 km or less, this putting things into a simplistic perspective. Anyway, if a stealth aircraft flies close to a radar you can bet that it will or could eventually be detected - that's what happened to that F-117. The fact that the F-117 was a 1st gen stealth aircraft (basically late 1970's technology) and didn't have jammers and decoys (and some sources even say that it didn't have RWRs) contributed for the rest - for being shot down! These are limitations that moderns stealth aircraft like the F-22, F-35 and B-2 don't have (They all have jammers, decoys, ESM/RWR, etc...)!

Jezz, that sh*t you "smoke" is really, really some powerful, serious and nasty stuff! If I were you I would immediately stop taking those or if I was into those I would ask you where do you get them....

And the additional noise has been an issue for some of the places they are planned to be deployed (all models, not just the Bs) - some communities have complained that they don't want them because they're louder than the F-16s they'll be replacing.
You mean besides Burlington Vt there are other cities near bases that are complaining or only these moonbats...
