I mean like press "e" to start your engines.
'f" for flaps.
"b" fro brakes
Take off.
"g" gear up
"f" flaps up

After that, I am kind of lost. As for engine management, where is the option for auto/manual mixture, pitch, etc?

Also, I play with three monitors, and the text is way on the left and right, cant see them with a huge head turn. How would I change the position? I assume that there is a text file somewhere I can edit.

Thanks!

Apart from Z key you can drag items on the screen with the mouse. See the FAQ, also has a manual engine start routine.

Hey pwnisher! Hope it's going well! I would try to work with complex engine management as much as possible, I think it adds more fun and you really don't have to make too many adjustments. After taking off, reduce prop pitch so you settle into between 2600 and 2700 rpms or so, Shift+P is what I have mapped for this. Then lean your engine mixture (Ctrl+- for me) until it sputters and then move it rich a few notches (Ctrl++ is what I mapped). Mixture settings are good for a few thousand feet or so before you need to adjust. While you are just flying around, play around with the setting and watch as your RPM gauge will go up and down slightly allowing you to dial in the best setting. Reduce throttle to somewhere at or below the bottom of the red zone (+4ish) on the Manifold pressure gauge or even less for cruise. As you are entering combat, throw the throttle forward and increase prop pitch to about 3000 RPM. You can use WEP for short periods of time to boost the manifold pressure up with the W key, but you can (theoretically?) blow your engine if you leave it on too long (W toggles it off and on). A minute or two at a time is good. If you are ever flying along and you suddenly lose power (especially after coming out of autopilot) check your mixture first. This happens to me a lot when diving after Stukas, I need to remember to adjust the mixture as you can easily drop 5000 feet or more! I usually don't mess with the radiators. You can keep your eyes on the oil and engine temps in the lower right of the cockpit, but they usually don't give me trouble unless I am damaged. Let us know if you have any other questions! salute

*edit: Also, as I don't know what I am talking about, anyone chime in if I am wrong about stuff!

The older I get, the more I realize I don't need to be Han, Luke or Leia. I'm just happy to be rebel scum...

Go through the flight controls, and note down all the important ones, build yourself a little cheat sheet. That's what I do.
