A few thoughts...
1. I never had to deal with the enormous expensive shoe collection (relative to middle-class), maybe a dozen or so pair that I'm sure were very reasonably priced. I'm liking the new boots, though.
2. Stiletto heels haven't turned me on in a long time, knowing what they do to women's feet/ankles/legs (my long-term thinking kicks in sometimes). I saw a lot of that on the streets of NYC, made me cringe inside.
3. I'd hope we could find something better to do with $17,000,000. Maybe spend $2k on some nice pretty shoes (multiple pairs) and $16,998,000 on something else.
4. The Long Run...what a great album!
