Hello chaps, btw has anybody noticed in WOTR that prop pitch feathered Ctrl+Shift+P produces full pitch and Ctrl+P feathers the prop which is the opposite of what it says on the Key Guide? Or is it just me?
I am using the incremental method (shift+P button and P button), but yes, the functions seem to be reversed if you think in terms of simple pitch.
Shift+P is tagged as decreasing the pitch, and 'P' is tagged as increasing the pitch, but actually the functions don't work that way. They act as follows:
Shift+P lowers the governor limit (lowers the engine rpm at which the "automatic prop pitch increase" kicks in)
P key raises the governor limit (increases the engine rpm at which the "automatic prop pitch increase" kicks in)
The trick is to think in terms of "controlling the governor" as was explained to me in the prop-pitch thread linked above.
