Snowman's gonna run cover for him as he peels through the Pearly Gates!

Holy crap bones! Who haven't you met? Well, I haven't met you yet! I was a bit intimidated by him actually. But then again, he was more adverse to the people bringing him their copies of his "nude" shoot in Cosmopolitan to sign, so I didn't feel too bad when I had him sign a CD of mine by a band that used "Deliverance" as the them of their single. I didn't have anything else for him to sign. He looked at me coyly and said, "What's this?" I said it was a song based on "Deliverance" and he looked at me for a second, then sighed and said, "OK." He signed it, "To Bones, Your friend, Burt Reynolds." Which I thought was kinda cool. v6, boNes

Yeah it;s kind of surreal that he is gone. There were some other celebrities I met shortly before they passed away. Ernest Borgnine, who was really nice, and David Carradine, who was really creepy, and Carrie Fisher who was so friendly that she left a lasting impression on me. I saw Tony Curtis in passing once but never formally met him.

v6, boNes I haven't met nearly as many celebs as you have but the ones I've met have all been very nice and "down to Earth". Bruce Boxleitner, James Doohan, Rene Auberjoinois, Cary Elwes, etc.

Oh cool, I would love to play frisbee with Bruce Boxleitner!
Cary Elwes would have been cool to meet too. Good you got to meet Doohan while he was still with us.

He was great at the Star Trek convention I saw him at in 1994. He was a very entertaining and engaging public speaker and he even made some interesting revelations about his relationship with William Shatner!

RIP. Several of his movies I own and enjoy.
I watched Cannon Ball Run over the weekend, so many big names in that movie have left us. I believe that movie came out in 1981? It’s crazy to think that’s already 37 years ago.
