I always thought University challenge was great. Talk about thread derail.

Look for me on Twitter, Instagram, Facebook or Tic Toc...or anywhere you may frequent, besides SimHq, on the Global Scam Net. Aka, the internet.
I am not there, never have been or ever will be, but the fruitless search may be more gratifying then the "content" you might otherwise be exposed to.

I remember when tv came to our area. We kids used to look through house windows st the 9 inch screens.

"You'll never take me alive" said he,
And his ghost may be heard if you pass by that billabong
"Who'll come a Waltzing Matilda with me?"

Interesting to note that the Footlights Team were in reality graduates from Cambridge, and Stephen Fry was one of the most successful candidates on University Challenge ever!

Stephen Fry is ultra-smart.

I remember being allowed a brief time to watch Gumby before going to school. Otherwise we watched what my dad wanted to which was Columbo or Maverick and we begged to stay up to watch. The best of times was when BBC's World at War came on PBS.
