It seems my son Kyle has been getting a few mentions across the pond for making this monstrosity but it is actually pretty good.

What do you think, would you try it?

Ughh. That I could not do.
But now if your son was to come up with an ice cream that was a carmel-colored treat whose ingredients started with the word "Glen" I would be all over it. wink

As long as it is not a Glen with mayo mix. wink

There was no Fw190A-8s flying with the JGs in 1945.

Did someone say caramel? I could eat that stuff all day long.

And yeah, I'm a Yankee so it's "caramel" buddy. wink

Carmel is a place name and a mountain range.

I have never once in my life been so bored that I would contemplate making ice cream out of mayo.

Mike Small of the ice cream shop in Brora made ice cream from the amber nectar, for in the shop to sell to the general population then it had to be under 2%abv … he did make a more adult orientated version that was not for sale wink it was actually not too bad smile

Mike's retirement notice:

https://sites.google.com/site/capaldisofbrora/

The range of flavours and quality went down after Mike retired, I last spoke with him in 2005, at least my wife got to try his ice cream, it was very good and even today she still talks about it.

it looks like frozen yogurt or ice cream. If nobody mentioned it was mayo you'd never know by looking, Panzer. Good God man!

And it is my opinion that if mayo ice cream is too much of a scare...turn in your man card! Taste it you big babies!

I doubt it tastes like Mayo. Mayo as a base would just make it very creamy and the extra sugar would cover any of the "yuk" ingredience. Plus classic icecream can use an egg base. It's the basis for almost every custard style known to man.

I would pass. I was on a cruise and signed up for a special Chef dinner. He served bacon ice cream. At least I was able to warn my wife before she plopped the whole mini scoop in her mouth. Not good.

Man, I'd try it in a heartbeat. I like mayo, so I bet it's pretty good. Too bad Scotland is so far away.

I like Mayo too, but not on it's own. Great on a deli sandwich.

Mayo ice cream is like "large Marge" in yoga pants...

Just because you can, doesn't mean you should!
