I finally saw Deadpool 2 tonight and overall I really liked it. However, I find it funny how time travel was used since that same plot device was also used in Avengers: Infinity War.

I watched most of the episodes in both seasons but it was never MUST WATCH tv. Seems that CBS pulled the plug on it after two seasons due to middling ratings.

Loved that show. Just good, clean fun.

Ice Cold in Alex or Eating in ...
Just finished watching Dunkirk, picked up the Bluray while back in Scotland.

Quite a powerful film kept me riveted to the end, my only complaint was the constant changing of aspect ratios I had set my cinema for 2.34:1 as that was what the intro was showing as, then when the film started it went to 16:9 then back to 2.34:1 and back again to 16:9 all the way through the film.

Ok that's my gripe out the way other than showing a Hispano Buchon instead of a bf.109, it looked just as odd as it did in Battle of Britain. Over all the film conveyed a little of what it must have been like during the evacuation.
The sound effects were great and the sound stage steered the sound around the action even the cat was watching it, she was fascinated over the guy trying to get out of the spitfire in the water and jumped off my lap to have a closer look, first time I have seen her do that.

Nude Jennifer Lawrence - 10/10

The movie itself - 6/10

Spy thrillers are not my favourite genre but a nude Jennifer Lawrence definitely is smile

The U.S. Congress on C Span. What is it William Shakespeare said ? All the world is a stage . All the representatives Become Actors as soon as the Cameras are turned on. Still the show is better than Soap Operas although not as good as the Thin Man films with William Powell and Myrna Loy.

I find that I have been drawn into to watching Wolf Hall on Masterpeice. I don't know how accurate it really is, but it seems to be very well done.

Saw Arrival last night. Total disappointment. Basically they took a short story and told it in a very, very, long and pointless way. Contact, written by Sagan, was far superior. They aren't even in the same ballpark.

That was a weird episode.

Yep, but not the only or even first "split person" episode of that season. The Enemy Within was somewhat similar in that they had Kirk split into good and evil versions of himself.

Bryan Cranston, Laurence Fishburne and Steve Carell star.

Quote

Great performances from the 3 leads. A very moving and funny film. One of the best I've seen so far this year.

Currently watching "Barry Lyndon". This is easily one of my top 20 films of all time.
