Re: Leaving Las Vegas. I usually end up going to Amazon, they seem to have a much more extensive library. Unfortunately they aren't free. Which is fine, but why do I (and you) keep subscribing to Netflix? The only thing I really use Netflix for is watching episodes of Cheers. Yup, just checked Amazon and it can be rented for $3.99. 1st World problems.

COuld be worse, you're catching a few episodes of your favorite series then BAM!, they yank it off the air when you're a few episode from completion. (And the Blue Ray set is a $170 collectors item)

Netflix is more and more about their original programming. We all stream shows on it around here. It's rare that they have a movie I'm looking for that I want to watch, but I do find some movies I've never heard of that are pretty good when I give them a chance.
·Steam: Raw Kryptonite ·MWO & Elite Dangerous: Defcon Won ·Meager youtube channel·Intel i5-9600K ·EVGA GTX1070 FTW 8GB ·EVGA CLC 120 Cooler ·16 GB Patriot Memory VIPER 4 3000MHz ·GIGABYTE Z390 AORUS PRO WiFi Mobo · CORSAIR CARBIDE AIR 540 case ·BenQ BL3200PT monitor

Netflix changed their strategy a while ago from being a content provider to a content creator. Their priority is creating their own shows and movies that you can only see on Netflix via streaming. Even their dvd/bluray service they are slowly but surely downsizing and it will eventually go away. As for why people keep subscribing to Netflix, the simple fact is that a lot of their original shows are VERY popular. Stranger Things, House of Cards, Orange is the New Black, Altered Carbon, Fuller House, etc. etc. Here's a very recent and interesting article on Netflix and why it has changed: https://www.cnbc.com/2018/05/20/netflixs-dvd-business-still-has-more-than-3-million-subscribers.html

I just get my free month of Hulu or Netflix once or twice a year. I run out of stuff to watch pretty quick on both.
Only reason I am keeping A Prime is cause I get the student rate and, I can get the tiny bits of art supplies I can afford shipped to me for ZILCH in a day or two.

Look for me on Twitter, Instagram, Facebook or Tic Toc...or anywhere you may frequent, besides SimHq, on the Global Scam Net. Aka, the internet. I am not there, never have been or ever will be, but the fruitless search may be more gratifying then the "content" you might otherwise be exposed to.
