The number of fights has gone down in the NHL. There is still the school of thought that it has it's place in the game. It is a way to police and protect your more offensive skilled players. Most (if not all, lately) fights in the NHL are one on one, and they end when one players is prone or the refs intervene. The all out bench clearing brawls are a rarity.
World Junior hockey is the most entertaining hockey, IMHO.

Eh, that Arnold clip makes me think steroids more than testosterone. At least he admitted to it and it wasn't illegal back then.

Eh, that Arnold clip makes me think steroids more than testosterone. At least he admitted to it and it wasn't illegal back then. Oh, no doubt. As a fan of 80's action flicks, Schwarzenegger and Stallone wouldn't have looked as impressive without 'roids (nor the Hulkster in Rocky III), although I'm sure they would have still looked plenty jacked without juicing.

Back then, and still now, I was amazed that a MAN would be vain enough to fill his body full of poison to look BIZARRE! At least when I was filling my body full of poison in the 80's it had a good reason... well kinda, seemed good then. AND it felt good. Granted, I didn't spend hours in front of a mirror studying my muscle tone. I was too busy studying the muscle tone of fine examples of the opposite sex. I've known (kinda) a couple of roided out bozos. One was a bartender at one of my hangouts and, his roommate was a road deputy! They were ok most of the time...when weird they were EXTRA weird. Dope's dumb for sure. If you are doping yourself heck, at least enjoy it. I've done a lot of crazy stuff...thankfully steroids to look good for my "friends" in the gym was never one of them.

Look for me on Twitter, Instagram, Facebook or Tic Toc...or anywhere you may frequent, besides SimHq, on the Global Scam Net. Aka, the internet. I am not there, never have been or ever will be, but the fruitless search may be more gratifying then the "content" you might otherwise be exposed to.

I do see what you mean, but getting a high 95 mph fastball at your head is going to make you madder than hell. Another thing is there are guys show boating too much when they hit a home run. They stand there posing, then they flip the bat and prance around the bases. It is not enough to have bested your oppenant in sport, you have to taunt and humiliate him now too. Some people like that, others would like to see some maturity and sportsmanship.
