I guess many of you drink coffee.. so, I'm interested in hearing what you like to drink?
Around 2014, I started drinking coffee - before that time I never drank it because my first taste of coffee was disgusting instant coffee crystals. Bitter, nasty stuff with a weird aftertaste. In 2014 I decided to try giving things another shot. I bought a bunch of real coffee gear, dripper, etc. I was blown away by how fruity and interesting a well made cup of coffee could taste.
I bought myself a pro quality espresso machine earlier this year (The kind people use in cafes) to get myself into the world of espresso. I have to say that I think I may prefer espresso now even more than drip coffee taken black. It's extremely bitter, but that's not the only taste there. I suppose if you like bitter beers you might also like straight espresso. When mixed with milk or water it becomes pretty delicious and mild.
As a twist, I have somehow managed to become the co-head of a cafe my business partner decided to open up - she wanted to rent office space and the cafe came as part of the office space, so we're going to try to make some money from it given that we've got the place already.
Anyway, what is your preference for coffee?

Around 2014, I started drinking coffee
I've been drinking coffee since around 1977 when I was 5 years old. Hey, I grew up in Miami, FL so I was just doing what was required! I seriously think my entire lymphatic system is saturated with caffeine. Ok, as for coffee preferences these are my main types that I drink on a daily basis: 1. Espresso (aka "Cuban coffee") 2. Cafe con Leche (Cuban version of a latte') And on occasion I'll get an overpriced caramel macchiato at Starbucks or I'll get coffee from a local Dunkin Donuts or McDonalds.

Just black nothing else. I prefer it with a side of peace and quiet.
I have some co-workers that like to have creamer and sugar with a hint of coffee.

I prefer an instant coffee tbh,a little fully skimmed milk,no sugar. What that says about my taste buds I'm not sure.
This particular Brit isn't a tea drinker either, just the odd one.

Jacqmotte Espresso dark roast is my normal coffee with a little semi skimmed milk, a friend gave me some Kopi Luwak coffee and boy was it really good, keep meaning to buy some more but each time I look at the price sticker the natural Scottishness of me puts the money back in my pocket on Amazon it is around £270 per kg OUCH! But it tastes sooooo good!

The taste is just too overwhelmingly bitter for me. That's how I feel about French Roast. Smells awesome while it's brewing but bitter as hell no matter how much sugar you put in. Columbian is the flavor I like.

I can do espresso with no sugar but not regular coffee. The taste is just too overwhelmingly bitter for me. Try cold brewed or at least use luke warm water if you don't want to wait for hours, then warm it up in the microwave. If anything you might find it too sweet. Its burning the beans that causes the bitter/sour flavor, avoid that and coffee tends to taste almost like a mocha.
