HI guys, i've been tinkering and almost finished with my components ..... but recently i'm having trouble with the encoders. I test the encoder in a protoboard, then i build a diode matrix for them and began to test it, but is misbehaving, it just receive one of the two buttons and it receive it partially (like if it was too much work to get those clicks) , i checked the conections and they are ok. The image/link is the matrix diode that i have create, later i try to make a better picture with the connections too. Right now i'm at work........
Anyway G940 sensors (like Saitek's) are not "stellar", Allegro A-1424 EUAT, Honeywell SS495A1 (to not say TLE5010/11) is certainly better, no much reason for insist with then unless you just replacing an G-940 USB controller.

Here are some pics of both the main board and the sensor. I think what happened was the power supply shorted with the ground somehow.
I have 4 A1302 Hall Effect Sensor's and am working on adapting them to the axis'. To be honest, I don't know much about these sensors has anyone used the A1302's? Any tips?

@ben1101 About this kind Hall Effect sensors they have a pretty straight forward operation. There you have 3 terminals, negative or ground and a positive or VCC. The third is the output. You apply 5V DC (watch polarization in the component datasheet) and in the output you'll obtain a voltage proportional to the magnetic field orientation. This sensor behave like a regular potentiometer ( not perfectly)

You cant interface this G-940 sensor in MMjoy2 - at least "PnP", their 6 wires suggest a "3D" sensor, reading X and Y axes simultaneous.
Don' find datasheet for 3338CH or P25769.
Case G-940 really use a 3D sensor, are a magnet at end of grip pole, this complicate use another type of sensor.
I didn't find it for the Chip No#s either so tried e153302 sensor in google which brought up links to IR Sensors eg for TV Remotes etc.... but no datasheet
not sure how you worked out that is the chip ? but if you are correct page 8 of the PDF (Pinouts) would suggest it is similar to the Sensor on the TLE5010

Melexis MLX90333 is the 3D sensor used in T.16000M, Warthog, X-55/56.
But is not option for DIY because require programming their parameters, e.g. in how many degrees will read 0 to 5 volts, what make easy match with gimbal movement, what require a costly hardware programmer, and besides this their communication with controllers is in digital mode, what require compatible controller/firmware.
A analog version of this sensor, but working in linear mode is available in eBay, see in previous page user experiences. But is not replacement for '3D" version in joy gimbal.
I guess a similar version (not 3D) is used in MFG Crosswind pedal.

thanks for the help. I have managed to get the X and Y axis hooked up via the HE sensors, but using the pro micro with the MMJoy2 inputs a0-a3 dont seem to work?? I have gotten inputs B6 and B5 instead, any ideas?
Now Im really hoping someone can help me use the standard button controller thats in the joystick handle of the G940 but Im realistically pessimistic.
The details on the chip itself are: HT46f47E and below that is: A920G0802
Here are some pics also. Im really hoping its possible to work it out as its a cool controller.

Hey guys!! Not sure if there's a problem with the site but I can't download MMjoy 2 no matter which version I choose , I click and check mark but noting happens
