Here assign axis for Throttle, double click over Throttle "Event" line, in the windows "Press HotKey" * I move the joy throttle axis. After I need tick the box inverted for match stick throttle movement with in game throttle. * I already suggest change this assignment box tittle for Press Key/Button-Move Axis, change that is done editing a text file, but this is considered "unimportant".

Got my rudder working properly. HELP Can not remember how/where to find "zoom in" and "zoom out" so I can assign buttons. Also am not able to set "Propeller Pitch" to rotary switch in Options/Axis (having the same problem that I had with controllers). Thanks, Badbud Go to "Camera" and choose "Field of View +" and "Field fo View -" I've found that my controllers must have some small spikes so when I'm assigning axis it gives me wrong axis/controllers, don't know if is a bug or not. I keep trying till I get the right one I want and checking the green bar. It's a bit annoying but not a big deal.

CLoD controls is awkward to set due their bad designed/confuse* interface, specially for AIRCRAFT due hundred of controls include there for "the future" - future that ~7 years after we know that never will come, after all CloD engine is showing their age, and could safety removed, example: Select Engine #3... Select Engine # 8!!! And their associated Prop Pitch, Mixture, Radiators, Carb Heat, Magnetos, Fuel cocks... This will reduce the list in 1/3 or 1/2. But there's no real problem there that impedes someone their controls, guys with problem is due not understand how use the GUI. The button for SAVE changes in controls is APPLY. "SAVE AS" is for save controls customized per planes, eg. Spitfire, Bf 109 - since Propeller Pitch set for one result inverted for another. "It's Clod!"https://www.justflight.com/support/il2-cliffs-of-dover/15e7fd7I have suggest several times changes in that controls to make then more friendly, fixe some "bugs", but besides be jumped by "Fanboys" in that topics, the "official" answer is "This is not important". For load controls "SAVE AS" use the button "LOAD" - can do this during flights. * In Bananas'Drama are a post by Lutier ("RiP") admitting not being able to make changes in the CloD Controls interface.

...except a rotary switch for "Propeller Pitch" in Options/Axis. Propeller Pitch in axis don't work in analog way for most Germans planes, because IRL that planes, Bf 109,Bf 110, Ju-88 use that "(MON)-OFF-(MON)" switch for control Propeller Pitch.

It works for me for the German planes, just not the same as the British. In German planes I set the rotary "throttle" wheel of my fighter stick in a center position. If I move it down, it increases pitch until I move it back to it's center. The opposite applies if I want to decease pitch. Which is pretty much how the propeller pitch control in the 109 cockpit actually did work. The British Rotol system, and the American CSP, work as if for a constant speed propeller. You don't set pitch, you set RPMs, and a governor automatically adjusts the pitch setting to the boost keeping the RPMs constant. Therefore when flying British, I use the same rotary dial to set RPMs to where I want them.

Good job with Blitz guys! Not played the game in a few years. Installed properly and no issues. Very disappointed when it came out in 2011 because it was a buggy mess. Finally living up to it’s potential. Can’t wait to see what else you come up with. VR would be nice at some point but not sure if that’s possible with the current engine. Keep up the good work and I’ll pay for new theaters.

I understand that TFS is looking at implementing VR in version 5.0.

One of the goofy things about ammo loadouts is that you need to set them up in multiplayer rather than single to be able to change them. I recommend joining an "easy" public server such as Leadfarm to do this. Another thing is that the RAF convergences are metric in the GUI, and in yards when setting the gunsight up. I like a convergence of 200 yards, vertical and horizontal, which translates to 182.9 meters. I use a mix of DeWilde (incendiary) and armor piercing, with some tracer in the outboard guns only. If you can figure out how, set up a "residual" for your last 100 rounds with a change of tracer color, again for the outboard guns only (numbers 1 and 8). Be sure to "save as" and give the loadout a name before you hit "apply". That way you can reuse the loadout for whichever RAF single seater you are flying. Set keystrokes for your gunsight so that you can set distance at 200 yards, and width to whatever the wingspan of you target is (32ft-109, 46ft-Ju87, 54ft- 110, 60ft-Do17, 74ft He111,etc.)

VR in CloD require redone all cockpits in proper 3D, for try save some FPS (and run in Win95 - objective failed) MG made then using parts in 2D. Now if I can come up with a good ammo load rather than the default in the Hurri and the Spit I will be really happy. You can, join in a MP server and set the ammo belt, this is done individually for each MG. In SP theoretically could be done in OPTIONS > PLANE, but the result is 'lottery", as SAVE is messy. Don't know if still compatible with CloD - due the 64 bits and change in ammo, e.g. German, but this 3rd party tool make set ammo belts easy. https://theairtacticalassaultgroup.com/forum/showthread.php?t=11555&
