The pilot seems well trained in making observations from a military standpoint and the encounter is documented by the DoD - not some guy in his private yard with a camera.

The level of technology demonstrated by the UFO could easily mean that this is a much older civilization than ours and therefore they have had time to be much more advanced than ours. If that is the case, our earth and civilization would be a classic case study for them on the development of a species that reaches a level of intelligence that perhaps is not often found on many planets.

Another point i want to say again is that it is very possible that the small ship or ships seen by the pilots are actually drones piloted by AI which was built perhaps by aliens occupying a planet in one of our closest solar systems. The nearest star to ours is the binary stars Alpha Centauri A and Alpha Centauri B about 4.3 light years away. There is also Proxima Centauri about 4.2 light yrs away.

For those of you that think there's no way these sightings could be from another planet think about what bounced around on the surface of Mars ...then settled down and opened up to reveal a robot rover from earth. Had there been any life on Mars that could have witnessed that then it could be said that such a creature just saw its first sign that on Earth exists aliens that must have built that rover !

That's a question I have, where is the original official DoD release? All I've seen are media stories saying this video came from DoD. Of course if it didn't I'm sure the Pentagon would have come out and said so by now but I would still like to see the original statement accompanying the release of the video.

one thing for sure F4UDash4 .....for that fervent community that believes we've been visited many times in the past (and I'm not one of them and I'd want more proof even from this release by the DoD) this will totally freak them out and galvanize their beliefs like two pipes being welded together. Heck everytime they see a light in the sky they don't recognize they'll start videotaping from now on !

First of all, it is Navy pilots, not Air Force. Second, yes, pilots do talk like that on their "aux" freq. Third, this source is credible and has been released by the DoD. Lastly, CNN's source is legit.

If you read the article on CNN they fully explain it. It was funded by Senator Reid and others. $22 million may sound like a lot of money, but as far as military budgets go, its pretty much the equivalent of a fart in the wind.

Not that I don't believe you, but I would like to see the official DoD release. Any idea where I would find it?
