Watched 'Schindler's List" Last night I don't think any movie moved me as much as that one had wet eyes constantly through out it
Watch "The Boy in the Striped Pyjamas".
It is a must see, once. I won't watch it again.

Watching Forrest Gump right now just one of those movies I enjoy watching..But then Tom Hanks ranks right up with the Duke for me..can't beat Saving Pvt Ryan with a stick

Forest Gump is one of those movies I will never tire of watching. Can`t even count how many times that is.

Why is that? I liked it very much and Stephen Lang was brilliant as Stonewall Jackson.

Yeah, that's an absolute classic and definitely not a first date movie!
That's the film where I first discovered Ralph Fiennes. What an amazing actor.

Valarien, City of a Thousand Planets. Its a little much.
I thought this movie was very entertaining, it's like Avatar but less boring. Never expected that because I wasn't a huge fan of the 5th Element (the visuals were good but the story sucked). Although heavily critisized, I thought the main leads were excellent. Sadly this movie tanked and we will most likely never see a sequel, just like with Dredd.
It's old but watched "Band Of Brothers' Usually do it around the holidays and have the first edition of the book as all Of Steve Ambrose's books and due to a previous post here queuing up Gettysburg been there about 10 times and cruise over the mountains to Antietam ,,but now have a step daughter who lives about 10 minutes out of Sharpsburg makes the trip easier..

I'm not at all sure about that recommendation. It is a very 'odd' story.
The message I took from it was that a bunch of Jews, Poles and other undesirables were eliminated, but that the death of the Nazi commandant's son through stupidity and naivete was a tragedy.
I was aware that there was a controversy about the book, and after reading it (it was a set book at my daughter's school), I am unusually going to side with the Rabbi's who took offence at it.
Schindler's List is a far better and more moving story.
I'd suggest the 2001 movie with Kenneth Branagh - "Conspiracy", or films such as "The Reader" or alternate history "Fatherland" over TBitSP.

The Holocaust is a horrific story that people should be reminded of. Seeing it through the eyes of children is exceptionally moving.
That "nazis' son" was every bit as innocent as anyone in the concentration camp, how is that difficult to understand???

Wife and I went to see Darkest Hour Tuesday night. If your a WW2 history buff, I believe you will like it. I have one complaint, but will withhold it until others have seen it.
