Possibly. But I doubt that a law firm with Skadden's reputation would get involved unless there was something substantive to Crytek's claims.

The top Skadden lawyer representing Crytek was previously involved in a case which won $500 million from Facebook and Oculus, when ZeniMax Media sued them for intellectual property violations.

Seems like something like this has been popping up at the tail end of the year for the past few years.

Well we will find out more in a few months time when CIG/RSI responds to the filing after they have been served.

Anything else is pure speculation without seeing the actual terms of the GLA that was entered into by the two companies.

Lots of possible plot twists in it, with Ortwin having represented Crytek in the past and the Crytek person that signed the GLA on behalf of Cytek leaving and joining CIG/RSI along with a good number of the rest of the Crytek staff.
