Amazing Right?
https://dreamsimteam.blogspot.de/p/simshaker.html

I wonder would it be possible to integrate this with EECH or would it take alot of recoding to implement?
I guess this would need discussion between EECH coders and Coders for the SimShaker Software any ideas?

https://dreamsimteam.blogspot.com/p/dis.html

Wouldn't this be so cool to have in EECH!
A man can dream right?

Your never to old to enjoy any sim! The whole point of simulation is to have fun through immersion into the world! Toys? by that measure anyone with a joystick has a toy. lol no pun intended. No time is ever wasted in creating something people enjoy! I love you guys for keeping this sim alive!

Since the game already has Force Feedback implemented I would hope it to be a small undertaking! Maybe we could even get it crowd funded! So you guys could get paid to complete it! It would be an amazingly cool addition! And it would be in One of only 3 simulators that support it!!!
Right now only Falcon 4 BMS & DCS support it and their the top of the crop sims! It would be EECH into that category bringing a better balance to Arcade simulation to the forefront without such an incredibly serious look on realism like DCS but with more of a focus on immersion!

I was once a child.
Hard to imagine I know with this lanky body and weak limbs. And All I ever wanted was to play this one arcade game with my friends that was an Apache Simulator at the local arcade. It had 3D triangles for targets! but it was soooo Immersive!.... It had a HOTAS though very basic stick and throttle and I used tons of quarters on it! It was my favorite thing to do at the arcade, because it even had this stupid thumping hammer thing that hit behind the back seat when ever your chopper was hit or going down or shot the cannon! and you could even play 2 players and against each other in tandem! It was so amazing and it amused everyone we played it for days! I am forever trying to recreate that feeling with sims and none of the sims do it since my Hardware is now outdated for DCS and I cant support it I play EECH! Hence there will always be people who enjoy this SIM especially supporting immersion like this!

I'm not saying you have to do it. I'm saying can we look into how much it would take to add this? and possibly estimate the time required and crowd fund it! At worst it doesn't get funded and you loose nothing in the process.

Your never too old to try something new!

Read the FAQ here its neat!

Get 1 or 2 of these and you'll understand what I mean.

Its actually really cool and works with the same sim shakers software.

[Linked Image]

Install behind and under your seat and be immersed in the coolest immersive experience for a sim you've ever had.

You can custom setup audio files to specific frequencies for each individual action from the game which is really neat!

All you need is the sim shakers software, a separate sound card, a decent amplifier however powerful you want. Since this does 400watts to 1200watts which you can get from a pawn shop cheap and this unit. Mount to your chair and fly away!

It would be really epic in this sim! Of course I know nothing of programming but would it take a ton of effort to accommodate some software export triggers when the chopper gets hit or goes into stall to send to sim shakers software? I'm sure the sim shakers guys would be happy to help implement it!
Tell me what you guys think.

Ebay Link to check it out.

heres how their traditionally used... [Linked Image]

Heres another alternative you can use with a nice review on youtube.

Only two helo sims on the market at this moment dcs and eech. If producer not support eech, that mean he dont want money, and you bought useless #%&*$#. Write to producer, eech has open source code.yes, is your problem, and your wasted money.

There are many things that would be cool to have.

I'm building a homecockpit and would like to see an easy way to implement some functions like MFD's or instruments (already possible but much more complex than in e.g. Falcon BMS) for example. The shakers you mentioned, I also built by myself for my cockpit and would like to use them too, of course.

But there are many more important things to do before. What sense does it make to have all this features implemented if the simulation itself lacks a lot of things that are really important, like fully working cockpits, weapon systems or still has some bugs with object collisions.

This has to be fixed before anything else. What about getting an account for the source code and helping us to improve Allmods? We are only a little group of guys who work at it and all have a real life too, so we could need some people who are really interested in getting the project further. If the important things are fixed, nothing speaks against implementing such features too.

EECH code isn't open source.

Viper- I think that such a shaker can be very easy to do if you can do everything.just pull out the wires with a joypad with vibrations
to the engine with a proper weight, and it will certainly work.and it will cost a few times less than simshaker.

Yes, thats a good idea cause it uses the normal force/vibration feedback most games already support and it's better adjustable.

I have tested another approach to get some real good jet engine or rotor sound feedback. I just used some old damaged subwoofers I had laying arround, removed the membrane and put a special mount with a screw at it. There are some DIY manuals at the web. I combined it with the subwoofers which are already in the pit and under my ejection seat, but the first time I tested it I suddenly had a surprising visit from my next neighbour biggrin

He asked me if I have a jet fighter in my living room. I showed him the home cockpit project and he was really amazed of it, but I think shakers and subwoofers combined aren't a good idea if you only live in a small flat. Maybe I have to rework the whole thing a bit hahaha
