I have to disagree. That's not acceptable. FAA officials said unless the act poses a safety risk, there is nothing they can do about. The official said they "cannot police morality." You can insist upon common courtesy and a modicum of dignity being maintained. Plus that is not one man's sky. If you're going to share my air you won't be drawing peckers up there with planes. They should be ashamed. The FAA should also show a little more character and mettle than that cop out statement.

Another evidence of where society is going in my opinion. It bothers me that above the heads of children in a sky that God gave them is an obscene image being drawn. I call it disrespectful. Young men, full of testosterone, trained hard and tuned tight like a bowstring, inculcated with a sense of superiority and invincibility, in a male dominated culture of highjinks and sexual humor, ... warriors. They failed to comprehend that this boyish joke was going to be widely seen and that there would be people upset about it. They failed to see that what they considered a harmless joke displaying their precision flying would be seen as offensive. Failure in being able to think ahead. Overexuberance.
It was a highly visible mistake and they will pay for it.
Good people sleep peaceably in their beds at night only because rough men stand ready to do violence on their behalf.
Someday your life will flash in front of your eyes. Make sure it is worth watching.
