I haven't flown ROF in a longtime. I tried ROF PWCG3.0 but as of now it will not generate a mission. Patrick is away for 2 weeks so I thought I would brush up with
PWCG 16.3.1 as that is the latest version that I have. I did install all of the Custom Skinpacks (7 in all) and was pleasantly surprised that all flights in the Missions
that it generated used custom skins. Here are a few pictures from my Flights. Hope you enjoy.

Thanks Wheels. It really is a Beautiful Sim. It is to bad they haven't back ported some or all the improvements that have been made in BOS
like they originally said they would do. I wish they would decide to produce ROF II, but sadly IMHO that will never happen.

Yes, RoF 2 would be great with all the visual improvements and enhancements of BoS... If they ever get round to doing it I'll probably have kicked the bucket by then frown

I know what you mean Trooper. I am almost 54 and nothing is assumed anymore. Each day is a Blessing, and my Life seems to get busier & busier leaving less time to Fly. Hope is the great
gift for the Elders. yep Maybe we will be around to Fly that next generation ROF. winkngrin

Yea I am sure it would be. I am waiting for the next generation of VR because I really like the eye candy and I am getting ready to build a new
top Spec rig after the first of the year. I am hoping they come out with much higher resolution VR. That is when I will buy into it. thumbsup

Wow, LOL, was I wrong. It seems we now have "Flying Circus" to look forward to in 1.5 years or maybe less. I'm in as I am a sucker for all things WWI.
When do we get an announcement on "WWI Tank Crew" ???? winkngrin

Here are a few more pics from some of the "Duel Missions" from SYN_Vander . He made these Missions a long time ago focusing on duels between planes that were likely
to fight in the skies of WWI. Don't be fooled, these are not one on one Missions but groups of planes flying Missions against one another. I have really enjoyed these as
some of my Favorite Missions that I can jump into very quickly and have a good fight quickly. This Yellow and Black skin is one of my Favorites on the DR1.
Hope you enjoy and maybe you will be inspired to try SYN_Vander 's "Duel Missions". salute
You may download them here if you like.

Yep, I was going to second that statement about not being hopeful abour VR for ROF or ROFII, but then I abstained because it was just painful to write that. And then Friday came. I'm so hyped again now!

Have been messing around with MODS ON mode in ROF and having some fun. I am going to modify the Zepplin Mission to attack it with a whole flight and see if we can bring it down. It seems it is very tough to destroy. I will try to have some pics later this week of the results.
These are some nice shots, I think. Enjoy. salute

These picks are from a really old mission, "SaucissesDouaumontv2". A massive Balloon Busting Mission with 8 Neups all flying to intercept their own Balloon.
It is a Fun Mission.

I didn't want to agree with your prior post even though I agreed with it Blade. I am also quite pleased even though I was definitely surprised to hear about the future plans for ROF.

It is a mod which can be found in the ROF Mod thread on the ROF Forum. You cannot pilot it.
Glad you like the pics.

A few more with the Gama Correction turned up to 100%.

S!Blade<><

Edit: I am taking down the full size pictures in the hopes that viewers will click the small ones and be able to see the pictures much better with the sidebars toned down to grey.
The white boarders besides the big pictures just don't do the pictures justice.

Some CLII, Alby and a DH4. Thanks Trooper. What do you and Wheels think about viewing the small pics when clicked verses posting the full size ones?
The CLII skins are new from Gooseh and may be downloaded at this link.

Dropping back into ROF today to check out PWCG. 3.2.0 seems to work for me but the latest 3.2.1 will not even start at all for me.
Here are some pics from an FEB campaign I just started. The only problem was that there were no hangers or buildings at my
home aerodrome. Other than that the mission was a good one. Thanks to Happyhaddock for the great sky effects mod.

Yes mate, that's why I'm not sure if I am going to continue with FC... RoF's aeroplanes are still great looking things biggrin
The only visual thing I didn't like about RoF was the sterile depiction of the Front and surrounding rear areas.
If FC gives us a more believable version with the Arras map then I think it will probably persuade me.

Jumping back in ROF full bore on the new Rig. Finally the Channel map is not a problem for this beast. winkngrin
Here is a short landing on the coast in one of my favorites, The TripeHound! Ummm, yes,.. sure I meant to land like that, it was all in the plan. yep

Great pics! Persuaded me to have another go with RoF (not interested in FC, have got too many RoF planes for all the difference) after installing all the current Historical Skin Packs. After a QC in the Pfalz D.IIIa...

...I generated a fresh mission in my parked Jasta 11 campaign...

...but it was a total washout, there were a few enemy A/C over the Lines but nothing near us and we saw no flak. Thought I had tweaked the PWCG settings to increase flights and flak but am back to empty skies, it seems. Boring, sterile even.

And then there is the video. I am still trying to learn how to video capture and have the end resulting video come out smooth so bear with me. This dogfight was run in QC using VonS's AI mod version 1.1 found at this link.

An early morning out patrolling the line on September 2nd, 1916 when 3 Eindecker EIs pick a fight. Two of them didn't go home and the third slipped off to take the word back to the Jasta. Don't mess with the Frenchys of Escadrille N.3 which are flying the Nieuport 10s out of Grivesnes Aerodrome. I am tied with Sergnt Georges Guynemer with 7 kills apiece. The kicker is he has flown 61 missions and I have flown 6. cool

I decided to take out the Hansa Brandenburg W12 for a hop. It was a short lived hop!

It's a beautifull day for a jaunt Hans.
[Linked Image]

The boys did a mighty fine job of cleaning Brandi up for our parade.
[Linked Image]

What's this? Tommy is on the high seas? Why it's the Royal Navy! Shall we have a run at the old boys? I will send a few rounds down range to wake the Blokes up Hans!
[Linked Image]

Franz, I have a bad feeling about this?
[Linked Image]

That should get their attention! Lets get out of here Franz.

"Shizer!"

Do you know how to swim Hans? Franz, you dummkopf!!!
