Hi,
In their creative production of text messaging and email programs, Samsung, took some solid functioning apps and made them sort of tedious and non-intuitive.
For both of these items, in the Galaxy S8 (verizon versions), in order to send a text message or an email, you actually have the press the compose button (or its equivalent) TWICE in order to send a simply email or text.
No big deal, but you start to feel a bit like a rat in a cage, having to press a compose button twice, when all of these years and up to the Galaxy S7 and with all other phones I have used, you only had to press it once to send a message.
So a solution for verizon customers:
1) for text messages: use the verizon message+ program. works fine and you only have to press compose once.
2) for email (enterprise or office 365) microsoft outlook for Android - actually quite a nice email program and you only have to press the compose button once.
I hope this helps someone.
