Now the throttle isn't working at all on the su 27 when I move it on the start up training mission in Flaming Cliffs 3.

Are all the training missions bugged?

Throttle works on the su25t training startup mission but no trim controls on my CH HOTAS.

What a nightmare to setup the controls this sim is.

Solved by me letting the power spool up by waiting and having patience,something I am not good at.

The controls are broken in the training start up mission for sure.

I assigned Page Up and Page Down for throttle up and down and when asked to move the throttle,nothing happens.

This reminds me of the old days of Flanker 2.0 ,when you patched the game up to 2.5,the training missions would not work at all.

Is DCS the same?

Is this for the Su-27 startup training mission?

Yes mate,the throttle refuses to work even though I have it working in controls/tune axis.

Still have the trim problem with the su25 t in the start up training mission.

It's Flanker 2.5 all over again,sobs.

Sim hangs when I click mission but not when I click instant mission.

LOL,bugs galore in this sim.

I have now found the engines don't even turn on properly in the SU 27 in any mission,throttle doesn't move also.

Absolutely pissed off.

Are you sure that you have settings for all aircraft? Every plane have own controll settings.

Yes,I spent an hour doing every single ac ,even deleted all CH HOTAS conflicts.

The thing is ,even kb commands don't work the su 27 throttles or turn on the engines.

I have spent hours trying to figure it out,deleted my user folder and started again,repaired the sim twice but that made no difference.

Gonna play some ED of a different kind,Elite Dangerous ,now that sim's controls are flawless!

This (controller issues) and having to re-map axis... for each and every patch/aircraft is why the DCS Series is no longer on my HD. Perhaps when it's no longer in Beta I'll re-install. Until then, I'll fly the VRS F/A 18 w/TacPac in either FSX or P3D.

I put a ticket in and DCS World told me to delete my user files in saved games for the sim which I have already done.
Then I reconfigured every plane in the sim and deleted every conflict.
Still no dice and it's not the HOTAS either,the kb commands don't turn on the su 27's engines either.

Just loaded in an Elite Dangerous profile for my ch HOTAS,everything is perfect so it's not the HOTAS or CH manager,it's DCS World.
I have already repaired DCS World three times now with the same problems.

Getting very close to uninstalling the sim.

Even my Falcon BMS profile works perfectly.

OK It was my fault Darren poo poo head strikes again.

I didn't wait long enough for the plane to power up.

Feel like a ning nong now,real ratbag.

Trim still isn't working and also nose wheel steering on my CH HOTAS.

I wrote Nose-Wheel-Steering LALT q in the cmc and assigned it to the little red button to the right side of the fighterstick,nothing happens.

If I press the left ALT q on the kb,nose wheel steering does work so this has to be something buggy in DCS implementation of controls?

No problems in Elite Dangerous or Falcon BMS with this HOTAS.

I have double and triple checked my cmc file.

Probably something simple again,I have uploaded my DCS World profile on the Ch hangar forums but everyone seems asleep,no posts get answered nowadays when it used to be very good.

Not my profile, I just used and modified it myself, the download comes with word documents with control pictures of the buttons and all, very handy.

He also listed all the keyboard commands for FC3 in those CH profiles, one profile for FC3 ground attack, Su-25 etc. One profile for FC3 fighters.
