I used to eat it all the time. Burgers, hot dogs, steaks, pizza with bacon/beef, spaghetti sauce with beef, beef stew, chili etc.

I'm probably full of Mercury, though. eek2

I hear ya! We have it about once a week but seriously up'd the fish intake. We went out last night for our anniversary and I had a steak. It was a little rough on the stomach. Just not used to it these days. LOL
Had my first coke since the first of Aug.

Naunton Beauchamp Worcestershi...
Have gradually become a veggie due to two of my four children are vegan and one vegetarian. (Mainly because I can't cook to save my life). Can't say I miss meat much, though I couldn't go dairy free as I love cheese, eggs and couldn't not have proper milk in my cuppa!

Very much like you BD-123,I'm surrounded by vegans/vegetarians so I'm used to eating meat-free. It doesn't bother me at all as I eat very little meat nowadays. I did go for a carvery last week though and I enjoyed a large helping of pork, which was nice smile

You guys are in the best position. Eat veggies, the others will learn some good recipes....and you can skip out for a cheeseburger when you feel like it.
Also, cooking for one isn't bad. Buying for one means it's easier to buy quality meat.

I'd rather eat the wrapper.

I've had a few vegetarian burgers that I have liked but the carbs are still off the chart which means no go for me. If, on the rare occasions, that I do eat a burger it is from one of my favorite local places or one I grill myself. I can't remember the last time I stepped foot into McDonalds.

Chicken and fish are more my style now although I probably could still eat better.

Plus I like beer. Way too much.

You can work what you want in every now and then, just plan for it.
Except pizza, I just can't handle that. LOL
