I am. Taking my daughter (19) to see Roger Waters tomorrow night in Toronto. I love Pink Floyd , seen them in 87 and 94 (without Waters). Saw Roger Waters way back in 84, I was 17. 33 yrs later I'm taking my daughter. I've been thinking about it ever since I heard about the tour. I havent been to a concert since 1996 I lived for concerts as a teen and 20 something yr old. But by 29 I seen everyone I wanted to, most of them twice. Last show I saw was Neil Young with Oasis opening. Great show, but I remember feeling " I am too old for this #%&*$#". Married the next year with a daughter, quit my partying ways. Son 4yrs later. Fast forward 20 yrs, and here I am. The only acts that would get me out again would be a Led Zeppelin or Pink Floyd reunion. I struggled with the Van Halen/Roth reunion back in 2010, I think. Saw VH 4 times, but never with Roth. But a few Youtube videos was enough to tell me it would just be sad. DLR was cool as #%&*$# in his day. Now he is cringe inducing. And I love VH. The cost of current concert tickets played a role as well. Watched a few youtube videos of Roger's current tour, and I really want to go. He covers alot of Floyd, including tunes from Animals, my favorite album. He plays Toronto 3 nights. Tonight, tomorrow and then back again on the 13th. I doubt it will be better than Floyd in 94, that concert was amazing. Just wanted to share my joy.

I'm a huge Pink Floyd fan but I didn't make it to their concert when they came down to Miami in 1994. I was a starving college student at the time so I had zero money.
The last concert I went to was in 2016 when i saw Celine Dion in Las Vegas. It was my wife's idea not mine. I swear!!!

Cool. I wonder if you will have the usual nervous laughter with her when you both smell the obligatory second hand smell of the weed that always shows up. Hope he plays some stuff from the Final Cut for you.

We're the same age, WangoTango. Welcome to midlife, get ready to ROCK! It's a balancing act, I think...being an old[er] dude while reliving your later teen years (and in your case, with your later teen kid). You should have seen the [real] seniors rocking to "Carry On Wayward Son" at a recent Kansas concert. I mean, they were into it, some elderly couples too! I believe our generation is one day going to freakin' rock the nursing homes! Have fun! EDIT: Agree about Pink Floyd concert in '94. Also, I wouldn't mind hearing The Final Cut in its entirety.

No The Final Cut is essentially a Roger Waters solo album and it is depressing as hell. No more so than much of The Wall (including some Wall rejects), birthday boy.
