The better pic was happily stolen from a post.....in...gasp...PWEC from..I hope he has power tonite, our own CyBerkut If it was just paint, and it's not, I would have delayed my entry into port until we looked ship shape, seriously. Hopefully the crew is quietly celebrating something cool they can never talk about.  Ha! PWEC. Man, I haven't thought of that place in a while!! I asked OG to ban me so I wouldn't see the forum, because I found myself lacking in the willpower to avoid it.  I hope the same for the crew, buddy! Hope you're well. I'm on my way back from Eagle Pass, TX where I spent the week for work....Made it back to Ft. Worth today and will go the rest of the way back tomorrow. Too old for 16 hour drives in a day. 8 working and 8 driving (well, 10 by the time you get through crazy Austin traffic) is enough for me. I should have returned the way I went, via Del Rio and San Angelo and up through Lawton. Slower on US 277 but less stressful. But probably less stress than would be caused by PWEC tonite. I bet if I had OG unban me, I'd be dead of a stroke within 10 minutes of reading.

In another forum I visit some people with experience in these things say the damage on the sail is similar to that you see after surfacing through ice possibly more than once.
